CC3 XPSP2/SP3 update CD

Well, as we all know, you can't just build a client using a build disk from the cc3 server vmware image.
This is because no xp setup files.

If I had the XPSP2 update CD for CC3, or the XPSP3 cd which i know is being beta-tested, then i could hack something together to get client install through build disk method. I once found it at my old school years ago on the server, but i had no usb key or blank CD with me so i couldn't take it :(
If anyone has access to either the xpsp2/xpsp3 update cds for cc3, or at least the files that are on them .. stick them somewhere, 7z them up, upload them to sendspace, or mediafire and PM me the link so I can get to work ..

of course i know exactly how the RM Installation Assistant works :p

Building a Client is easy; theres a guide around here somewhere.

I think you mean building a server as building a client is extremely easy ;)

however why would he want to build a server with a windows XP service pack??
Due to the never-ending workload, the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off until further notice!!

um, i don't think you get what i mean.

On a real CC3 network to rebuild a box you can just create a build disk, pop it into a client and follow instructions right ?
Well on Binky's VMWare image you can;t.
The XPSP2/SP3 update cds contain new copies of the xp build files -- that's why you have to rebuild every client after you do the update.
And it will also install the xp build files onto Binky's vmware image.

I just want to get the vmware image more likea real CC3 server.
DO you get what i mean now ?

I'm not sure how updating clients to XP SP3 works for networked machines.
I installed SP3 before turning into an RM Client Machine.
There is something called a Client Disk Creator or something like that on the vmware image.
Just can't remember what it is called :/

That's what i'm talking about! Installing clients through there won't work because there are no XP install files on the vmware image and with either of the CC3 xpsp2/sp3 update CDs, I could possibly get it working !!!

Aghh I think i know what you may mean,

A little while ago my old school where chucking out old PCS with CC3 and they gave one to me so after a long time cracking the passwords etc i found a backdoor way into C:\, (Know if you install Commisioning Utilities it installs to C:\RM\ because) in that folder the is another folder called i386 (I think that is the Name) then also there is a 10mb (roughly) HIDDEN Partion that i manged to get containg a few files which even boots off of on my machine ???

yes, that i386 dir and possibly the files in the hidden partition are files installed by the XPSP2/3 update CD. That would be PERFECT. Do you still have them ? if so can you 7z it all up and upload it to mediafire, sendspace, or share.longhorn.dk or anywhere except rapidshare ?
