Control administrator via RMT?

Postby coldfire54 » Wed Jan 14, 2009 2:04 pm

When I am running RMT I cannot see the administrator (teacher).

I noticed a few weeks ago there was an "Admin Launch" however its no longer there. I think the admin realised I was in there and has moved it so I cant get it. Does anyone know how I could run the RMT as an administrator and have the ability to use it to do stuff to an admins station?

Thanks

admin workstations may not be able to be controlled. if they are not showing up in the all computers list then it will only be the teacher program that is installed on their machines. they could also have the Location Link installed on the workstation that you are using RMT.

hope this helps

No, its the same no matter what station they are on. I think only the admin launch would be able to do it. The teacher launch must have build-in security protocols to stop a teacher (or a savvy student) taking control of an administrator.
