Desktop Toolbar

Postby irksome » Sat Dec 22, 2007 5:59 pm

Hi all, been a while since ive posted here. Just breezing through a couple of threads it seems some of you have managed to get the RM logon screen working at home and the user type indicator as well.

Has anyone actually managed to get the desktop toolbar thing working, the one with the log off and status buttons on it?

Or any other RM element for that matter.

Thank you.

well, i don't think the logons are made for normal computers, they are used for rm pc's, to take the details.
as someone wouldn't log on to some dell computer sitting in the middle of the room if it didn't look like the rest of ther school computers.

If anyone can't get this to work, and actually wants it to work, I can have a look at trying to get it working, but I'd need the install package to be sent to me ;)

I don't know about the toolbar thing but you can certainly get the RM logon screen and RM's version of the Ctrl, Alt and Del Screen box to work on a home computer or another computer. To do this, just install RM Logon Provider from the packages folder on your school server.
