Postby hello1234567891 » Mon Sep 10, 2007 9:12 pm

Hi,
Today i found out that if you go into my documents, right clicked went to new then shortcut, in the dilog box typed in the server name after \\ then another \ at the end eg. \\server1\ (mine was \\gss-sr-001\).
Click next rename it to google or whatever, then you have your shortcut to the server, double click on that and your in!

Yep, and if open up that shortcut, then open the directory 'rmpackages', you'll find that every program your school has installed on their network is available for you to take home on a memory stick...

Yep overclocked's idea is the one I was about suggest; the text within the quotes (') should be the server name. RM server names usually take the form of [three digit establishment code]-sr-[three digit server number] e.g. hth-sr-001 for the main server at the place where I am, if that helps
