Hello,

If I logon to my schools easy link and go to my settings and then on my window click tools - folder options - view and then check show hidden files and folders, something called NetHood shows up. Now can I have anyfun with NetHood? My friend said he has it on his school account and managed to crash the server, can this really happen?

NetHood is where windows stores all of the shortcuts which you've added to my network places, so any network shares you've been on (Such as when you were browsing the server for example) will likely appear here.

It also means you can add shortcuts here and they'll appear in my network places :D

I managed to be able to view all things on the school servers such as RMPackages and all teacher/student accounts. Now is there any fun that I can have with all the folders I can view which is many. What is in RMPackages what do the things in there do?

It contains the setup files for all the programs setup on your school computers i.e RM Tutor 3, Microsoft Office.
All the programs do differnt things obviously. Some are RM based and only work on are RM computers i.e Rm Logon.
Microsoft Office you should know what that is.
RM Tutor 3 - Controls computers and does other various things.
Have a look every school has differnt programs! :D
You can take them home on your usb memory stick.
Hope this helps

Some fun ones:

RMManage- contains network management tools (Need an admin account to run these)

RMBuild- contains the setup files which are used during a rebuild of a machine. There's a full version of windows dumped in this folder, and if you modify anything in there, any computer that is rebuilt will pick up the changes

RMStudentWork- contains the home directory (My documents/N drive) of every student user on the network (:!:)

RMPublic- RMStaff is in here as far as I can remember

RMMultimedia- contains virtual CD's and other files needed by the CD-ROM Player application

Those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head; just ask if you need to know what anything else does or have any other questions :D

In my school RMBuild can only be accessed by Admin's as far as i know.
Though i dont have access to a advance teacher account.
RMStudentWork - In my school you can only access your own folder and nobody else's folder (Shame) :(
