A few days ago the server in or school broke. While it was off I tried logging on to lots of computers. On all of them I had full local access. Does this mean that the network cable trick will still work on our network? I have never tried it before because I thought it would be disabled by now.

Yep it will work then, this works at my school still as well. The admin is a noob, lol.
