Are you are....
1. trying to install RM Tutor 3 on a computer in school and run it
OR
2. or are you installing it on a laptop and plugging it into your schools network...?

As you got from your's server school it means is all ready installed in your school.
If you are doing option one there is a problem you need admin rights to install a program.
As for the second option i have not tried and few have as most schools dont allow you to plug into your schools network

You are correct ,RM Tutor 3 is automaticlly setup only for use only on admin accounts, but then the admin adds ICT teachers and other teachers that request to use it so If you couldn't access it throught the standard link it means your admin has only allowed certain accounts to use it and i know no way to change that accept to get an admin password or other account with access to it.

Your IT teacher has the shortut on the menu if she has access to Tutor 3.
Doesn't she lock it...?
BE CAREFULL SHE COULD WALK IN AT ANY SECOND!
You wouldn't be able to do much , Managment console is password protect even from a staff they must re enter there password,
If people are in there they some one will grass you up i assure you! (i know to well, never help anyone (he bragged))
If location link isn't installed you could log off all he people in the school or even turn off all the computers
I don't recommend going on her computer for the main reason that she could come in any moment.....

Location Link was made by RM
It stops teachers from controlling all the school computers and only allows them to control computers in that room..

E.g

Mrs Yellow has logged on a computer in the libary in her school and she wants to watch a pupil who is her ICT Room.
If the computer she is logged on has location link installed she will only be able to use RM Tutor 3 on computers in the libary and not her ICT Room...

Understand...?

No problem
Im in the same position just want to control computers with RM TUTOR 3 ! LOL!

Bear in mind though, not all schools have location link installed (Although they will if they have any sense lol). Also, location link protects computers running rm tutor 3- which means if a computer doesn't have RM tutor 3 installed, then you won't be able to shut it down remotely regardless.

...unless of course your school has local support tools (LST) installed :D . In that case, providing you can get access to management console, any CC3 based machine in the school can be shut down at your beck and call...

And you can also send messages, log users off etc, etc.
