Scramble CC4 keylogger

Postby coldfire54 » Wed Aug 27, 2008 12:54 pm

Hey, I live in northern Ireland and I have seen posts about CC4 being deployed here over the summer. I know that CC4 has a key logger ability and was wondering if anyone knows of any programs that can be stored on USB that can scramble the key logger or even completely scramble CC4 control over the work station. I wont be able to do much if an admin is watching what I type unless I use voice commands :lol:.

Suggestions Welcome

Thanks

You could use task manager ;)

I'd need a working copy of CC4 before I could find out anything definite about how it works...

Backtrack should do the job nicely, unless they're using built in hardware keyloggers.

Yeah, but I dont really want to do that. My passwords are very long and very complex. I really cant be bothered. It will take forever.

They are like pa55w0Rd=£1{SchH0l}

Can you imaging trying to backtrack that enough to stop them being able to render the correct password.

A scambler would be much easier :D

Erm, I think you're thinking of 'backspace', which is the key on the keyboard for deleting entered characters... :P

'Backtrack' is a bootable security distro built on linux which is full of security tools, and should let you mess around with the contents of the computer which has CC4 installed. It'll boot from CD or USB, so providing you have access to either of those, it should work for you at school ;)
