Ok, my school has got some new filtering software by RM. We had some long-ass assembly about it today and 'The Acceptable Use Policy'...

The process I found was called securusn.exe (yes, with an 'n' at the end...) When my friend tried killing it (taskkill /im securusn.exe /f), he got logged off and he couldn't log onto that machine. (He could on others, and others could log onto the same machine, but not him...)

Any Ideas on Surpassing/Hacking/Bypassing/Counter-acting this new obstacle????
Note, this is not just for Internet Filtering, but also for any content filtering.... I'm not asking to get past the filters, I believe internet filters are there for a reason... I just want to disable the screen monitoring app so I can continue using cmd and other crap without any fears of some sysadmin tapping me on the shoulder...

Ahaha, who checks email in school, also, the Acceptable Use Policy is BS. It says in my school 'No floppy disks from home' so i'm like, Ok sure ill enjoy the 21st century on my own...

Laptops
Misuse that takes place on network-disconnected laptops taken out of school (or laptops used in boarding houses) is still captured, and then automatically recorded for reporting purposes when the laptop is reconnected to the school network. Any unacceptable activity during the interim period will be detected and reported.

To be honest, I'm not that bothered.
It is a school after all and they do need to filter things out so that they can cover their ass and say there are doing everything they can to educate you probably.
And anyway, anything you can't do in school just do it when you get home.
The only time I use the school computers these days are when we go there for a coursework lesson or something. And thats what they are there for, to do school work. Any other activities or such you wish to do, do it at home

And as far as Internet Filtering, its impossible for me since its a Proxy controlled by the County.

Why would you be on a chat room when you're in a school filled with people?
And why can't teachers talk to Kids, its obvious when something is bothering a person. It's called basic Social skills

Well, I'm not really worried, I'll just carry on and not worry,
my school is rubbish at hiding things, I overheard my teachers
saying that it was all a bluff!!! Dumb-ass teachers!!! Any ideas would
still be appreciated... But I found out that holding shift works when
logging-on so now i'm free!!!

Well, the AUP is completely stupid... No CDs from Home on the computers with no cd drives... DUH! Also I am likely to decline them now, because they are saying that by accepting, they have the right to use your usb stick when you plug it in at school! NO WAY, MATE!!! The ICT Techs are scared enough of me already, so I will The Prime Target!!!!

School is stupid, I think I'll make an FTP Server from my laptop, because they don't say anything about that, so legally, they can't do jack...
