i have managed to get the whole contents of the sims setup folder
(\\(adminserver)\apps$\SIMS) otherwise known as either F:\ or S:\

i setup a win03 server and ran SIMSINST.exe checking the boxes for server installation. when asking to connect a database connected the one supplied called (newsimsdatabase.mdf) and installed a client on another computer (XP Pro) making sure of a network connection between both and network drives were there etc

then came to trying to login to sims for the first time..
in the documentation supplied in installation it says that
username: sysman
password: password
it wouldnt let me login

in short is there anyone that knows fully how to setup a sims server? and get logins etc working
