Use old win 3.1 programs to access the c: drive

Postby heebyjeebys » Mon Mar 17, 2008 4:39 pm

My school has a win 3.1 version of paint shop pro and you can use it to access the c: drive and delete things etc. I used this to change the desktop wallpaper :D
I also used a 3.1 version of terbo pascal to view the c: drive but could not do anything because it crashes when you try to access anything

Is there any other win 3.1 program that will let me properly browse the c: drive??

Microsoft Word pre 2007 using the web toolbar should let you access the c:/

Office 2003 was the pinnacle of office interface excellence.

(The office 2007 interface sucks :) )

I only use the 2007 one if I am forced to, i.e. I went into a school about 3 weeks ago and I was about to go onto Access and I seen Microsoft Office Access 2007

I nearly died :x

I agree, the new interface sucks!
It's confusing.

Actually it doesn't matter because at school they use office 2003 and i do at home (kinda took it from the server)

LOL
I think its ok, but it does look cleaner.
Don't like half the buttons being hidden though
Out of curiosity, has anyone who took software from the server been caught and shouted at?
