Various ways to 'hack' CC3

Postby hex_coder » Thu Oct 11, 2007 9:18 pm

Here are some exploits that i discovered whilst using my school computers, these should all still work

Access to 'c:', useful for installing backdoors:
To do this, open up dream weaver and create a new site: in the properties section change the drive to 'c:' and the access type to 'local/network'; if done correctly you should have access to the C Drive and most of the file on it, the rest is up to you.

Easy read only access on any network
Create a new shortcut in windows explorer, call it whatever you want. change the drive to 't:\', on most CC3's this is the staff drive. The rest is also up to you

Enabling your own internet access
Find the correct network cable that plugs into your computer, get ready to unplug it. Whilst doing this logon, just as its about to logon unplug the network cable; there should be an error message, just before the error message plug it back in, you should now have internet access. Note: this was tested in 2006 when i was 14.

FOR FUN!!: Blue Screen Of Death!
On the logon screen of some of the newer RM computers, Rapidly and continuously keep on pressing 'alt & f4'; the computer will look like it's shutting down in 20 secs but, a BSOD will appear!!

Unless these have been patched up in your school, they should work on CC3
