Any schools using VMware?

Postby muto » Fri Jul 17, 2009 7:31 pm

Recently I've worked on projects with three different companies who are moving their servers to VMware ESX[i]. Considering my schools DC runs on Windows 2000, and the secondary server is on NT4, it's about time they got a hardware update. Has anyone come across a school moving to virtual infrastructure?

They're happy to splash out on rooms of shiny Macs, but the infrastructure is all crap. Perhaps I should force the issue of upgrading...
