platypus is on hold until i can develop a suitable encryption algorithm (almost there just needs a little tweaking)
but for the mean time; i have written this remote control app (originally written to turn off the annoying club penguin on my sisters laptop) and now it has turned into this full blown program (features listed) interestingly styled into the rm logoff look-alike program a wrote a few months back, if anyones interested - pm me (note, the controller program is console only - its easier that way)

features:
mute
unmute
set volume level
show processes
lock computer
shutdown
restart
sleep
turn on/off caps lock
turn on/off num lock
get system info
take screenshots (you must share the root of C or screenshots folder to view them)
send message in messagebox
show battery information
make directories
view directories and contents
delete directories
delete files
blank screen
start a program, file, web link.. etc
kill programs
eject and close cd tray
minimize, maximize, cascade and tile windows and show desktop
keyboard input into current application on computer
left click and right click

Other things i could add - upload / download files straight to your computer and a keylogger if anyone wants i would add it
and i think thats about it!

Im trying to learn C and then move on to Objective C. I've bought some great books on it which are really helpful.

the only language i'm good at is VB.net lol .. but i wanna learn Objective C when i get me macbook pro 13in

About the user indicator thing:

# Any chance of an option to stop the settings window appearing when the program initially runs.
# Also when you change the colour of the little man it snaps the login box back to its default position.

On the remote thing, you have the option to stop it appearing when it loads up (only in the latest build); as for the second thing, i will look into that! i've never noticed it!
and of course you can have a copy
