Postby Fergie1 » Mon Jul 16, 2007 9:25 pm

Hey,
Does anyone have a fake login screen for standard Windows 2000 with a domain drop down?
Thanks. :D

Are you talking image, or sub-routine?

a fake login screen would need a textbox control (so the user may type there), right? right.
therefore, in any-way, it has to be a program. basic VB programming will suffice.

I have seen one on other sites called dummy lock, but the downlaod link for it no longer works.
If I can't find one I will go as far as to write my own and upload it but I have no expericence with coding. (Unless you think html is coding :P )

I've started to make one in VB Express, but how can I copy an image (the logo from the dll) into the Form?
Thats why I have asked for a VB forum to save clutter from the other sections.

Yep easily, get ResHack: http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/

This'll let you pull any bitmap or other resource from any windows binary (dll's, exe's or scr's in other words), so it should come in handy :D
