Microsoft issued 7 patches in one day

Postby phiber » Sun Jul 18, 2004 7:13 am

As the subject states....
Microsoft issued 7 patches in one day, after some of the vulnerabilities have been opened for about a year. how about that.

the worst thing is that the patches don't work in some cases.

IE sucks. use firefox.

After 20 years when IE source code will be released for FREE, people will get a great example how to NOT write computer apps

Lmao! I'm actually loving Apple's safari browser at the mo; you can get it for PC now and it's based on the Webkit engine which is fassssssssst.

And when you drop off a tab into a new window, it has a cool animation where it goes "Shwooooooop" :D

Yep

As I say though, it's based on webkit, and it is a pretty fast engine. Although to be fair lol, I've gone back to firefox; more compatible and more add-ons

Worth a look none the less, it's in public beta at the mo

Does anyone know why Apple decided to call it "Safari"?

Lmao, I've not really thought about that... guess it beats calling it 'iBrowse'

Edit: Anyone who's watched the Mac/PC adverts just lately might find this video quite amusing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHO8l-Bd1O4
