WANNA BYPASS ANY AND ALL WEB FILTERS?!?!?

Postby Quaon » Wed Jul 25, 2007 1:02 am

SOLUTION: Go to command prompt (or go to start menu->run->cmd.exe) and type "ping (insert site)" Heres an example: ping myspace.com

Now it will give you a line of numbers that look like this: 216.178.38.121 (this is mysapce) now just type that number in (plus http://) and it will bypass filters. Example: http://216.178.38.121

Theres your answer to all problems ppl, no proxies needed, and no ability to block it. I personally give this a HUZZAH!!

As always, if you have any problems, simply give me an email (jordanselby@gmail.com) and I will personally help you through it. Just be sure to include in the email that you got my email from this site, otherwise I may ignore it.

At my school they have a piece of hardware (sort of like a router) called a CachePilot. Didn't work and wouldn't let me do it. The admin is pretty much always scanning everyone and without fail busts someone using command prompt.

Dang. Hmm, you could try different ways to get into it. Check the internet, there are many ways to do it. Example: make a shortcut of it, and right click -> properties. Go to the assign shortcut bok and type in c, that way all you would have to do it type ctrl+alt+c and it would work.

P.S. This works for any program on your comp.

Hate to break it to you quaon, but this method is olllllld, and a lot of places have it covered now... they either block by keywords, or the server does an auto DNS lookup for every site that's blocked so the IP's get blocked aswell :(

Try using a proxy through a secure (https://) connection... works 9 times out of 10

I have found that most Jr/Sr high schools tend to be lax in this regard. But it is true, it is old. Eventually you will find a proxy that works on almost any filter, however if my idea works, you should use it. I have found that a lot of proxies make it hard to use flash or play videos on the sites you access. Using the numeral address of a site does no such things.

If your school runs CachePilot then just type cachepilot in Internet Explorer and you have the admin screen. It tells you the default credentials. Sometimes admins don't change them.

You do not need to ping the domain from cmd prompt. There are many online sites that will resolve the ip for you, centralops.net has a ip resolve facility.

This worked in my school about a year ago on RM, it still works now however i find bypassing web restrictions stupid. Use unrestricted web at home.
