Re: If you could logon as your schools admin what would you do?

I wouldn't do anything. I do not find anything humourous about wrecking networks or changing settings. After all the effort and work people put into creating and running them, ruining all that work just for the fun of it is just sad. It really is.

Re: CC3 Server

LST stands for Local Support Tools. It just allows you to manage a machine's properties remotely.

You need to install the LST package for the workstation concerned. I can't remember the exact process, but I'll have a quick look around see if I can find it.

Re: CC3 Server

MSI's are made by third party tools from exe's. They are then distributed throughout the network via group policy. ;)

Also, where is Ict_Tech's guide? I can't find it anywhere? :(

Re: CC3 Server

Well my admin at my old school says he can build and run a real network far better than CC3, but the head of IT wanted different.

He says the school was paying far too much for something he could have provided in the first place.

Re: CC3 Server

I have managed to build a workstation, with full acsess to RMMC. However the Internet comes through the server, which has lost its connection. Thus I have no acsess to the Internet in the virtual machines. Can any one help? That is because the DNS for the server is only set to a local IP address. T...

Re: CC3 Server

I'm completely stumped as to why your settings are disabled. Try logging onto the server, then using the systemadmin account on the RMMC. See if it's still greyed out.

Other than that I don't know what to suggest. :?

Re: CC3 Server

Hmm. That isn't the same as mine, all my options are accessible. Give me a few minutes I'll have a look into it.

Re: CC3 Server

Thanks for that link TJ, some nice backgrounds there. :) Also, there's an option in the RMMC, under Global Workstation Settings, select the Logon category, and click on specify logon bitmap. Then just type the location of your desired wallpaper. Also, it must be a server share, and it must be a bit...
