Signatures don't work...?

Postby TJ_2k7 » Mon Jan 28, 2008 7:33 pm

Well thought this is the best place to put it..
Why doesn't our signatures show up...?
I have made mine but yet doesn't appear below my posts.
If you go on many members profiles you can see their signatures but they are not shown under posts...?
How come...?
Thanks

Since i used to work for phpBB, i am able to answer that question.
When phiber is setting up his security policy, he assigns a role to every group, for registered user, he can have, limited features, standard features, all features, and 2 more i think, you can also make a custom policy, he has obviously choosen one that hasnt got users signatures in it.

I have talked to Phiber and the problem was that the signatures were being misused for advertisment. Once the forum rules are up, signatures will be enabled again.

it's nothing to do with anything.
The reason signatures were disabled is because they were being used for advertising, which obviously the admin doesnt want.
So, quaon and phiber have come to an agreement.
When the forum rules are posted up, and users are told that there is to be no advertising in signatures, the, they will be re-enabled.
So that they can actually warn or ban users for disobeying rules.
Hope that helps. :D :D :D
