hello again, I had another question.. can you add apps to your live cd/usb? would it be like installing a any other app on an OS?

Okay, back to your question.

Unfortunately you cannot install programs to ERD Commander, it's a bit like a read-only operating system if you know what I mean.

It is purely for back-end configuration of your main O/S when it's screwed up!
It wasn't made to run as an actual operating system :P

ERD is built around WinPE, from what I remmember, so it should be possible to add your own packages, but you'd have to rebuild the ISO after you did..

I have the same message when i use pe2usb with windows vista.
It works for me with my other computer (win. xp)
Maybe you can try in compatibility mode . :ugeek:
