HOW TO CLEAR YOUR HISTORY!!!

Post by cyberleaderjim » Tue Apr 17, 2007 9:46 am

Just follow these steps to clear your history!:

1. On Internet Explorer, click 'tools', and then 'internet options'.
2. Then click 'settings', and 'view files'.
3. Click on 'view', 'explorer bar', then 'folders'.
4. Single click on the 'history' option at the side
5. Highlight the day names that have opened, then hit the delete key!

Enjoy!

Please note: This will not clear your address bar. To combat this, use google for all of your browsing, then your questionable websites won't show up in the recent addresses!

Hate to be annoying but I already knew this one :P

As for not being able to access internet options, do you know the name of your domain at school (Including the domain suffix, e.g. "myschool.internal")?

If you do I can help you out...

Yeah this is a good point guy_laister... most networks use other software/technologies to log what you go on the internet (E.g. securus, smartcache, squid, auditor)- so deleting your history won't make any difference in the slightest in that case. And because of that fact, and how much of a pain in the arse it is to look at your history on a particular computer rather than logging it centrally, most IT techs just won't bother.

Unless it's important, like you've done something really wrong. :P
