The only games I've ever really played in emulator are old gameboy ones. I remember the days of taking no$GB into school on a floppy disk, loading it through the script debugger, and playing Kirby from the school machines. Later I got Visual Boy Advanced, and has some fun on Kirby/Wario/Mario on that. Those were the days...
A litle while back I also had a play around with DOSBox, replaying some of the classic DOS games that were my first real PC gaming. Hocus Pocus, Command Keen, Cosmo...
Who needs 3D when you've got great games like those?

Re: Emulators
Hmm...
The first machine I remember gaming on was a Windows 95 machine, which had to be rebooted into DOS to paly the games, which is a max of 14 years ago. Windows 98 hadn't come in yet, so between 14 and 11 years ago...

Re: Emulators
Don't pretend you don't love those old-skool games.
Also, while we're on the subject, I'd like to throw Cygwin into the mix. Perhaps not an emulator in the strictest sense, but there we go..

Re: Emulators
First game I ever played on the PC was Hover! for Windows 95... I remember the days.
Right now I'm using ZSNES, until I get a power supply for my real SNES

Some people are like Slinkies: completely useless but fun to watch when you push them down stairs.
