Preventing the spread of USB malware

Post by muto » Wed Apr 08, 2009 8:58 pm

Interesting little paper I came across on milw0rm. Anyone working with computers might want to take a look, could save you a lot of time down the line.

Code: Select all

I had a little play around with the method suggested, other than reversing it using the same technique, or a format, there doesn't seem to be any way around it...

That is quite interesting, especially seen as I've seen this kind of malware in action.

Hell, I nearly infected my own laptop...

If I'm not 100% confident, I'll either do it from Linux, or from the windows CLI, which doesn't execute the autorun.inf file..
