The full thing on a VM is about 16-20gb mate depending on what options were choosen at the build stage of the server. for example if the school has asked for any other apps like Office 2007 or Adobe photoshop etc it all ammounts to a hefty big file. which i dont think will get uploaded because theres not that many people with it atm with 50 meg on virgin(Good Upload Speeds) and some of us who work at RM arnt going to use company servers so i would give up trying unless you copy all the files from a CC4 school and somehow make them work.

Why not just create a torrent of Server 2008 and the CC4 files on it, we don't really need all that other crap...

Yeah you could do that if you had the files but CC4 doesnt run on server 2008 mate its server 2003 its just that the CC4 apps and tools take up soo much space on the server.

BTW CC4 is the same as CC3 in that its a scripted install so you will never get everything working unless you have a build server that runs the scripted install on the target server.

Mate your not going to get that in the UK with the poor upload rate it would take ages to upload so i aint gonna bother and my cc4 image is just over 17gb

Yeah that would be good as you could get it to about 4 or 5 GB or PM Me with your Address and i will send you some DVD'S and burn it on to that and ill upload it here

That is true but it would take ages to compress that amount on a computer and you would end up with over 150 split archives to upload at the very least but I do like the sound of the "physical transfer" idea.
