Hey Xatrix,
I was messing around on a PC in my school and I was searching around on the internet, I downloaded a portable (installation not required) application that was in a ZIP file (My school uses Win 7, so that's the 'Compressed zipped folder' option.) and I clicked Run not Extract and then guess what? The application actually ran completely bypassing Group Policy. My school doesn't use RM Community Connect any more, we just use a bunch of Symantec software that runs applications from a 'layer'. So that's pretty useful
Try this in your school to see if it works!
See ya Xatrix!

Hey Phiber,
I would think the computers would be regularly patched, but seeing as how we don't have control panel access I cannot tell if they use WSUS or Windows Update but, I never see the update window appearing so I assume not. All the computers are PXE booted off an image.
