Hi guys,

I'm a little confused . . .

When creating a website in html the page must be called index.htm(l) then you can type the url without /index.htm(l).
Although when creating a website in .aspx format, no matter what the name of the page is when you type the url without the page name it doesn't load . . .

Anyone know what the problem is??

I believe the file should be called `default.aspx`, but you should be able to change that in the serverside config.

Thanks, but that's what the age is called, I tried leaving it as default.aspx and then tried index.aspx, but when I load the website the stayed at the main url and give me the folder contents!!

What web server are you using? You should be able to set the index page in the config somewhere. If it's hosted externally, and you don't have access to the config, ask the support people.

If nothing else, you can set your 404 error page to redirect to the index page you want.

If you create index.htm(l), does it load that as the index? Does the aspx page load properly if you visit it normally?

It's an external server.

index.htm(l) loads as index,
Type the aspx address manually and it loads

Just to let you know they said that they cannot change this!!
I'm still discussing this though!
