Is there a way to limmit and or stop and monitor a person or computers bandwidth use?

I would suggest that you encrypt the network when you dont want them to access it. I would be simple. You could do it either on a computer connected to the network, or at the router itself.

if i had an 8 meg line, and I wanted to limmit the computer to 1meg how would i do that?
And i know about the time filters etc
