It's awesome!

Changes from vista (in a nutshell):
  • Vastly improved performance in all sorts of areas (start-up/shutdown, application loads etc.)
  • New taskbar/start menu- really efficient if you embrace it
  • Jump menus (part of the change noted above)
  • Libraries- lets you organise folders from all over your hard disk into consolidated folders (sounds random, but very handy)
  • Aero peek- really slick previews of open windows
  • Improved wireless/power options
  • UAC less irritating
  • Support for various new hardware technologies
  • New devices and printers section, with 'device experiences' (fancy name for pictures of your devices, but hey- it's cool)
  • IE 8 (not a change I care about particularly...)
  • Less crap bundled with windows
  • Aero snap- windows automatically resize when you point them at the edges of the screen = slick.
  • New keyboard shortcuts and improved multi-display support
  • Too much more to list here. Just search for 'windows 7 new features', and you'll see plenty more
:) !
Some people are like Slinkies: completely useless but fun to watch when you push them down stairs.

It's alright i still rather Leopard though. The only thing is that i sometimes need to think about what im doing in Leopard because i'm so used to windows.
The fact you cant hit the X to close a program often annoys me.
Snow Leopard :D

I ended up uninstalling Windows 7 because my anti-virus and other programs didnt work and it just annoyed me so i deleted the partition and have stayed on Windows Vista (Heaven forbid) ever since.

You know that someone has got hold the RTM version of windows 7?! (If you want the site PM me) ;) When you download it pesters you for a license key after 30 days, but some guy made a program (I can't say the name of the program on the forums, but if you want it just PM me...) ;)
This program does the following:
What ********* does is that when executed, it stops and changes the startup type of sppsvc (Software Protection), sppuinotify (SPP Notification Service) and SLUINotify (SL UI Notification Service) services to disable. Then, then ********* simply takes ownership and full control permissions on the following files, before backing them up and finally deleting them away.
%SYSPATH%\SLLUA.exe
%SYSPATH%\sppsvc.exe
%SYSPATH%\SLUI.exe
%SYSPATH%\sppuinotify.dll
%SYSPATH%\SLUINotify.dll

This is what the results are:

And no, my name is not Marcio, it's just the first picture on google images when you search for the program...
You can probably guess my name from looking at the website on my sig... ;)
