It depends on if you need PASV mode on your FTP or not.

This might sound obvious and stupid, but have you checked that you're connecting to the FTP site with the same details as you were on the windows box?

It's an easy mistake to make... ;)

Why does everyone keep posting IP addresses on the forum?? You might as well just be saying,

"Here is the IP address of a server that I hold dear to me. It's got some useful stuff on it. I just figured you want to know, you know, in case you wanted to do some security testing for the 'what the heck' of it or whatever. But erm, yeah, there it is- hell, PM me and I'll give you the username and password! My stuff isn't really important to me. Lolzz, this isn't a security forum, who cares? :P "

Point taken?

that address is not valid no more :P ... and there isn't really anything on there that i would consider important. And when you are logged in anonoymusly, its read only

Is there a "device manager" sort of thing for mac? Because I think that the vmware mac can't connect to the internet because there is no drivers for the network hardware

It does not work ;)

EDIT: Ethernet only works if you dual boot leopard on a real PC

You can install Leopard on a USB Drive though.....
Internet should work and you dont need to mess with Dual booting..

... i would rather boot it off a second harddrive. My computer technitan friend says to do dual boot you need to install the newest opertating sytem first and then the older one. So install mac osx first and then vista or whatever os you want... but personally i would use a second harddrive
