... i would rather boot it off a second harddrive. My computer technitan friend says to do dual boot you need to install the newest opertating sytem first and then the older one. So install mac osx first and then vista or whatever os you want... but personally i would use a second harddrive

You dont have to install Mac first, it makes no difference...

Actually, the reasoning behind installing mac os first, is that windows can't boot Mac OS, but Mac OS can boot windows (It's the same with linux)

Whether or not it actually makes a difference in practice is another matter entirely; a bit of googling won't do any harm. There'll be someone out there on the internet who knows a lot more about this than I do, but this is how I understand it.

It's more hansle for me though, i already have Windows Installed...
I use MacDrive to access and edit my Mac drives when booted in Windows.....
