Anyone who has a mac with a superdrive (slot loading):

Does the drive 'chew' up your disks?

Check the audio connections inside the imac.

Also, use a good external set of speakers to ensure that you don't in fact have two sets of crappy speakers ;)

Haha, I'm making do with my Aspire 5630 for the moment... it's scratched, doesn't always work, and one of the display hinges isn't attached to the case any more.

Ahh well, at least it runs windows 7... :P

You want to put Vista on a Mac...? :o
Thats like throwing Salt on a Slug! But a very good looking, super amazing slug ;)

It should run great but id suggest putting Windows 7 on it instead of Vista though.

Mac OS X runs great on my PC when dual booting along with Vista, but that is the opposite of what you asked :D

I installed Windows 7 on my Laptop along side Vista and i dont use the Vista partition now :) Windows 7 is just so much better. It looks nicer, runs faster, dont take as long as Vista to boot up and turn off and it seems to do normal tasks so much quicker. Microsoft have done a good job of replacing Vista and trying to make everyone forget about it
